Diversity in Clinical Trials

Medical treatments work differently depending on race and ethnicity. Thus, if diverse groups aren’t part of clinical studies, we can’t be sure whether a treatment or vaccine will work in all populations or what side effects might emerge in one group or another.

We are pleased to offer this curated collection of articles highlighting racial and ethnic disparities in clinical trial participation.
